Rain

Artist: Dragon Song: Rain Album: Body And The Beat (1984) Great song from a classic Aussie band. The intro/verse riff has a reverb and is hard to hear if the Gb note is actually played or pulled-off from the G#. Sounds better pulled-off I think. Verse 1: (main riff) Oh it's a happenin' thing, and it's happening to you Full moon and thunder, Ribbons of blue Ice on the window, ice in my heart Foolin' with thunder, every time we start C# E It's been raining for so long C# E It's been raining for so long Verse 2: (main riff) Oh is it any wonder, the streets are dark Is it any wonder, we fall apart Day after day strange rain falls down All over town ... rain coming C# E It's been raining for so long C# E It's been raining for so long E Eb C# C# B Don't you go out in the rain A A Ab F# B Don't go out in the pouring rain E Eb C# C# B If you go out in the rain A A Ab F# B We'll never have that time again Verse 3: (main riff) Oh is it any wonder, streets so dark Is it any wonder, we fall apart C# E All these feelings that seem so wrong C# E Remember we were so strong C# E But it's been raining for so long C# E It's been raining, I can't go on E Eb C# C# B Don't you go out in the rain A A Ab F# B Don't go out in the pouring rain E Eb C# C# B If you go out in the rain A A Ab F# B We'll never have that time again (Repeat for outro) Main Riff (Intro/Verse) |------------------------------------| |------------------------------------| |------------------------------------| |---6--4----6--6--4------------------| |------------------------------------| |------------------------------------| Tabbed by michael@conceptmedia.com.au http://wwww.conceptmedia.com.au
