Afterglow

This one has been done before. This way it might be easier to play. The C chord used could be a simple C or the Csus2(x32030/x32033). I like using the basic C in the verses and then switch to the Csus2 in the chorus. They both work in either place. In the chorus I like to hammer on/off the G note on the high E string Tuning: 1/2 step down (Eb,Ab,C#,F#,Bb,Eb) D Verse 1: D G Here I am, lost in the light of the moon D that comes through my window D G Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divides D the thorns from the roses C G It's you and the roses Pre-Chorus: Bm A Bm G Chorus: D C G D Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow D C G D Heal me from all this sorrow As I let you go C G I will find my way when I see your eyes D A Bm G D Now I'm living in your afterglow Verse 2: D G Here I am, lost in the ashes of time, D but who owns tomorrow? D G In between the longing to hold you again D C G I'm caught in your shadow, I'm losing control Pre-Chorus: Bm A Bm G My mind drifts away, we only have today Chorus: D C G D Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow D C G Heal me from all this sorrow D C As I let you go I will find my way G C G I will sacrifice 'til that blinding day when I see your eyes D A Bm G Now I'm LIVINNNNG!!!!! in your afterglowwwwwwwwww!!! Bridge: Em Bm Em Bm A When the veils are gone as I let you go, as I let you go [vocal interlude: D C G D x2] Chorus: D C G D Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow D C G D Heal me from all this sorrow As I let you go C G I will find my way, I will sacrifice D A Bm G Now I'm living in your afterglow Ending: D G Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divides D the thorns from the roses C G It's you who is closest
